Anderson- Lonnie C Hendrix, 57, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 after an extended illness. He was born October 23, 1955 in Forrest City, Arkansas to Henry and Mattie Hendrix. He came to Anderson in July of 1978 where he met and married Judy (Lyons) Hendrix on December 22, 1978. They enjoyed thirty-five years together. He was a heavy equipment supervisor for twenty-five years. He is survived by 3sisters, 2 brothers, and a special sister-in-law all of Arkansas. He leaves behind his wife Judy(Lyons) Hendrix, 4 children Dawn(Davidson) Powless, Jonnie(Davidson) Redman, Gregory Davidson and wife Nicki all of Anderson. He has 9 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters all of Anderson. Special friends: Mark Saul, Elizabeth McLain-Davidson, John Powless, and Linda Pardue all of Anderson. He had several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Southern Care of Muncie for the loving care they provided for Lonnie. The family is holding a memorial service at his home on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 5:00p.m.

The greatest man Ive ever known,my Dad, one of a kind. Always helping everyone, Someone like him is hard to find. The strongest man I ever met he tried to right all wrongs. Now he walks this earth no more and part of me is gone. I learned more from my dad then anyone Ive ever known.He taught me to be strong an stand on my own. Im stubborn just like my dad ande I know that he can see I didnt turn out bad, he gave me great advice, I MISS you dadso much, I wish we didnt have to be apart. One thing you can be sure of ILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU IN MY HEART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
